Bolivia has launched its first green hydrogen pilot projects in Oruro, Tarija, and Santa Cruz as part of a national strategy to diversify the energy mix and enter the global low-carbon hydrogen market. The initiative includes a 2 MW electrolyzer in Oruro, which will use solar-powered electrolysis to produce hydrogen for blending with natural gas in industrial and residential applications.
