According to a report by the National Electric Energy Company, 398 MW of solar power has been installed in Honduras thus far in 2015. An additional 161 MW are scheduled to be installed for the start of 2016.
Though less than 1 MW of solar was installed in 2014, Honduras has now become the second biggest market for solar power in Central America.
