Luis Alberto Moreno, the President of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), has confirmed that he will give the opening keynote at CREF 2015. Mr. Moreno’s participation in CREF serves to underscore the IDB’s long-term commitment to assisting the Caribbean as it transitions towards a cleaner, more cost effective, and sustainable energy matrix and hence reduce the Caribbean’s dependency on liquid fossil fuels.
