CREF’s move to Panama City creates new opportunities for delegates to experience the country’s culture, biodiversity and history alongside the conference program.
A new selection of optional excursions will give participants the chance to explore Panama from several perspectives. Walk through the historic streets of Casco Antiguo before discovering the traditions behind premium Panamanian rum; travel by dugout canoe into the rainforest for an encounter with the Emberá community; or explore Gatún Lake by boat, with wildlife viewing, conservation exhibits and an aerial tram journey above the forest canopy.
Each experience has been selected to offer delegates a deeper connection to the destination while creating additional opportunities to spend time with fellow CREF participants in a more informal setting.
