World Clean Energy Summit: Chile will lead a new green hydrogen mission

Chile’s Biminister of Energy and Mines, Juan Carlos Jobet announced announced that Chile, along with Australia, the United Kingdom and the European Union, will lead the new clean hydrogen mission.

According to Jobet the mission has three pillars, (1) foster research and development focused on the innovation of technologies and industrial processes. (2) Development of large-scale projects to adopt a systems approach that will encompass hydrogen production, storage, transportation and end-use across the hydrogen valleys. And, (3) identify and overcome obstacles to accelerate deployment through rules, regulations and the promotion of demand.
