USAID and the Caribbean Clean Energy Program held a workshop to introduce local organizations to financing for solar energy projects. The event facilitated networking opportunities for stakeholders from thirteen organizations in the financial, educational, and energy sectors, introducing participants to the basics of designing and developing successful solar energy projects. First in a series aimed at spurring investments in clean energy development projects in Jamaica and the Eastern Caribbean States, the Agency expects that project development training in renewable energy will accelerate the growth of renewable energy investments.
