Uruguay awards US$70 million contract to build 75 MW Cerro Largo solar park, set for 2028 operation

Uruguay’s state utility UTE has awarded a US$70 million contract to a consortium of Teyma (Uruguay) and Prodiel Energía (Spain) to build the 75 MW Cerro Largo solar park. Located next to the Melo converter station, the plant is scheduled to begin operations in 2028.
