Trammo, AustriaEnergy and Oekowind Sign Memorandum of Understanding for Exclusive Green Ammonia & Green Hydrogen Offtake in Chile

Trammo DMCC, a subsidiary of Trammo, Inc., a leading global commodities merchandising and trading company, and ASOE Chile Diez SpA, a company owned by AustriaEnergy Group which manages renewable projects from development through construction and operation, signed a Memorandum of Understanding for an exclusive green ammonia offtake of the entire output of a green hydrogen/green ammonia plant to be developed in Chile with an estimated annual output of 1 million metric tons of green ammonia. This project in Chile would be one of the first ones commercializing green ammonia based on a 2GW wind park. AustriaEnergy has partnered with Oekowind, a company which develops and operates wind, hydro, and solar power plants, for this project in Chile. They have already accomplished the first important milestones in this project development and plan to start operating and producing green ammonia in Chile within the next five years.
