TotalEnergies H2 (TEH2) has submitted its US$16 billion H2 Magallanes project for environmental assessment in Chile, aiming to produce and export green ammonia from the Magallanes region. The project will involve a 5 GW wind farm, renewable hydrogen and ammonia facilities, and desalinated seawater, producing up to 1.9 million tonnes of green ammonia annually.
