  • MPC Energy Solutions invests in cogeneration in Puerto Rico

    MPC Energy Solutions N.V. has signed the acquisition of a 3.4 MW Combined Heat and Power (CHP) project in Puerto Rico. The project will sell the produced heat and power under a 12-year USD-denominated energy service agreement to an unnamed pharmaceutical company. Source

  • World’s largest ‘green hydrogen’ offtake deal signed in California by waste-to-H2 start-up

    Washington DC-based waste-to-hydrogen company SGH2 Energy will supply 3,850 tonnes of “greener-than-green” H2 annually to two of California’s largest owners and operators of hydrogen refueling stations under a ten-year contract.   • Algae cleared from Caribbean beaches can power hotels

    Y.A. Maof, an Israeli company that works on environmental and waste disposal projects. After a trip in the Dominican Republic, the company found combining the algae found on the beach with organic waste in a biogas facility could enable energy generation.
