  • Brazil and Japan partner on biomethane pilot project

    Toyota Tsusho, Ferrari Agroindústria, Toho Gas, and Sebigas Cótica Bioenergia have entered a joint agreement to develop a pilot project for biomethane production in Brazil using sugarcane waste. The project aligns with Brazil’s Fuel of the Future law, supporting the expansion of biofuels to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.  Source: Biofuels Digest

  • AES plans to decarbonize its operations and add 2 GW of renewable energy in Latin America by 2024
