  • CIP files US$1.3 billion EIS for Llanura Solar hybrid project in Chile’s Antofagasta region

    Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) has filed an environmental impact study for its US$1.3 billion Llanura Solar hybrid project in northern Chile. The 2,064-hectare complex in Antofagasta will combine a 1,004-MWp solar farm, 152-MW wind farm, and a 3,831-MWh battery system. Pending approvals, construction is expected to start in June 2028.
