Ecopetrol and GIZ advance pilot synthetic fuels project at Cartagena refinery

Mexico’s data center industry to require 1.5 GW more energy by 2030

Mexico’s data center industry is projected to require an additional 1.5 GW of energy by 2030, according to the MEXDC association’s 2025-2030 market study. The sector expects US$18.14 billion in direct investment and US$54.43 billion indirectly, generating over 20,700 direct jobs and 75,800 indirect jobs. Source: BNAmericas
