  • Uruguay releases bidding rules for green hydrogen grants

  • State of Ceara signs another two MOUs to develop PV and produce hydrogen

    The government of the Brazilian state of Ceara signed MoUs with two firms to develop PV and produce hydrogen. Kroma Energia plans to develop 690 MW of PV in Ceara, and H2 Green Power Ltda seeks to produce green hydrogen at the Pecem industrial and port complex. Source: Renewables Now

  • Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul signed an MoU with Enerfin do Brasil to construct a green hydrogen project

    The government of the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul signed an MoU with Enerfin do Brasil, the Brazil-based renewables subsidiary of Spanish infrastructure builder Elecnor SA to construct a green hydrogen project in the state’s Rio Grande port. Source: Renewables Now 

  • H2 Peru and Peruvian Ministry of Energy and Mining sign agreement to promote green hydrogen

  • Suriname cancels construction of hydrogen power plant by Hybrid Power System Group

  • Kadelco to install USD 3.3 billion green hydrogen plant in Costa Rica

    Australian conglomerate, Kadelco, will install a green hydrogen plant in Costa Rica, generating 50,000 tons of green hydrogen per year. The total investment for the project is $3.3 billion. Source: La Nacion (ES)

  • Colombia signs MOU with Port of Rotterdam to supply hydrogen

    Colombia signed a memorandum with the Port of Rotterdam to supply hydrogen. The Port of Rotterdam also formed green hydrogen agreements with Chile and Brazil, making Colombia the third point of supply. Source: Power Engineering International
