    Argentine energy producer Genneia SA is investing US$200 million in renewable energy parks in Argentina over the next two years.   • Brazil releases guidelines for September energy auction

    Brazil’s Ministry of Mines and Energy released guidelines for new energy auctions in September. The auctions will award energy purchase agreements (PPA) for hydrogen, wind, PV energy, energy from city waste, biomass, biogas, coal, and gasoline with terms of 15 years for wind and PV and 20 years for other sources.   • IFC Adds Eastern Caribbean Central Bank to its Sustainable Banking and Financing Network
