    The Coalition for Climate Resilient Investment released new technology in Jamaica called the Systemic Risk Assessment Tool.   • Genneia SA invests US$200m in solar park and wind farm in Argentina.

    Argentine energy producer Genneia SA is investing US$200 million in renewable energy parks in Argentina over the next two years.   • Brazil releases guidelines for September energy auction

    Brazil’s Ministry of Mines and Energy released guidelines for new energy auctions in September. The auctions will award energy purchase agreements (PPA) for hydrogen, wind, PV energy, energy from city waste, biomass, biogas, coal, and gasoline with terms of 15 years for wind and PV and 20 years for other sources.     Enel has secured US$650 million from the European Investment Bank’s development branch EIB-Global for green investments in Latin America. Enel Green Power Peru will receive US$130 million of the loan facility to implement wind and solar projects.
