The World Bank to lend US$400 million to Argentina for agricultural infrastructure investments

Argentina will borrow US$400 million from The World Bank for agricultural infrastructure investments to encourage farm output in the north, boost the incomes of small farmers, and improve food security across the nation. The government will also provide US$100 million in credit, and the private sector will give US$50 million.
