As momentum builds for Geothermal Direct Use (GDU), the World Bank and Energy Sector Management Assistance Program (ESMAP) are launching the first event designed to underscore the power of GDU to heat industries and communities worldwide. A richly abundant resource, GDU is yet to fulfill its potential. The World Bank/ESMAP is bringing to bear an array of financial and technical resources to support the mainstreaming of GDU world-wide.
