The National Energy Commission (CNE) of the Dominican Republic reports significant growth in distributed generation

The National Energy Commission (CNE) of the Dominican Republic has reported significant growth in distributed generation through the Net Metering Program. In 2019, the country had 80 MW of distributed generation, which has now increased to over 320 MW in 2023. This distributed generation accounts for 2% of the country’s electricity supply.
