Tesla and Copec will jointly develop an ultra-fast electric vehicle charging network along Chile’s highways, installing Tesla Superchargers at Copec service stations between La Serena and Puerto Montt with roughly 200 kilometers between sites. The stations will run on 100% renewable energy and offer up to 250 kW per charger, enabling drivers to add up to 280 kilometers of range in about 15 minutes. The network will be rolled out gradually in 2026 and integrated with both the Copec and Tesla apps, while Copec continues expanding its own high-power Voltex charging infrastructure.
