Juan-Pablo is one of the founders of the Hinicio office in Chile where he manages the company’s operations and leads multiple green hydrogen projects, supporting companies worldwide on accelerating their sustainability transformation.

He has expertise in analyzing energy systems from technical, commercial and policy standpoints, combined with advanced understanding of renewable and non-renewable energy systems. During the last years, he has worked on multiple projects along the whole green hydrogen value chain with special focus on Power-to-Chemicals systems and renewable energy export.

He has been involved in the dissemination of hydrogen-related topic in his country through various initiatives, as well as abroad where he moderated the first hydrogen panel at the COP25 in Madrid.

Juan Pablo is a founding member and current Director of the Chilean Hydrogen Association and holds a master’s degree in Energy Systems from the University of Melbourne.
