SEFE, Eletrobras, and EnerTech collaborate on green hydrogen project for Europe

German company SEFE is partnering with Brazilian energy giant Eletrobras and Kuwaiti developer EnerTech to produce 200,000 tons of green hydrogen annually starting in 2030, aiming to support Europe’s climate goals. The project will involve building an electrolysis plant in Brazil, powered by renewables, to convert hydrogen into ammonia for transport to Germany. Once imported, the green hydrogen will be distributed across the European market, aligning with the EU’s renewable energy and hydrogen directives.
