Rafael Reyes 21.8 MW solar park comes online in Santiago de Cuba

The 21.8 MW Rafael Reyes photovoltaic park in Santiago de Cuba has been connected to the national grid, becoming the second of four planned solar facilities in the province. Built with Chinese technology and more than 45,000 panels, the plant is expected to cut fossil fuel use by about 1,200 tons annually and save over US$1,100 per day in fuel costs.
