Quaise Energy Raises USD 63 Million For New Geothermal Drilling Technology

The geothermal start-up Quaise Energy has raised $63 million to deploy a new drilling technology to unleash the earth’s hardest-to-reach heat resources. Safar Partners, Prelude Ventures, the Engine, and other investors provided $40 million. The U.S. Department of Energy’s Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E) provided a grant of $5 million.
