Paraguay launches international tender for 140 MW Loma Plata solar project under new renewable energy law

Paraguay’s National Electricity Administration (ANDE) has launched an international tender process for the planned 140 MW Loma Plata photovoltaic solar plant, following the country’s new renewable energy law that enables long-term clean energy procurement and storage-integrated projects. The project will include full development, construction, and operation, along with a 220 kV grid connection to the National Interconnected System.
