Brazil’s antitrust authority Cade has approved Omnia’s acquisition of control over a major data center project in Pecém, Ceará, which is expected to host infrastructure for TikTok, giving the company full ownership of the venture previously developed with partners. The approval removes a key regulatory hurdle, enabling Omnia to lead the project that aims to become one of Brazil’s largest data centers tailored to a single global client.
