New Fortress Energy announced that it has entered into definitive agreements to acquire Hygo Energy Transition Ltd. in Brazil for a combined $5 billion. NFE will become the leading gas-to-power company in Brazil, adding 2700MW of power generation operational or in development and robust customer pipeline in the South American country’s rapidly growing natural gas and power markets.
