As numerous Latin American nations announce hydrogen projects with an eye toward the global market, Mexico is looking to join the race. Hydrogen was singled out for the first time in Mexican Energy Ministry Sener’s Proseden national development plan earlier this year as a potential future replacement for fossil fuels in power plants operated by Comisión Federal de Electricidad (CFE).
