Reuters reported that Mexican and Cuban energy officials are looking into sending natural gas from Mexico’s state-run oil company to Cuba. Mexico is a major exporter of crude oil but to date has not exported natural gas.
Economy Minister Ildefonso Guajardo said, “this is a project that we are just beginning to explore.”
