Matrix Renewables, a Madrid-based renewable energy platform backed by the global alternative asset manager, TPG, closed a non-recourse, long-term financing agreement for 328 MW of solar-distributed generation (DG) projects in Chile. Out of the 48 photovoltaic projects in Chile’s PMGD program (projects with a generation capacity surplus lower than or equal to 9,000 kW), the Matrix Renewable portfolio of smaller-scale energy generation projects is the largest portfolio ever funded in Chile.
