Regional climate change meeting to take place in St Lucia

A meeting in Saint Lucia this week will take place to agree on an action plan following the Paris Agreement on Climate Change. The Regional Coordinating Committee on Climate Change (RCCCC) will use this opportunity to review the progress made in the implementation of the ‘Regional Framework for Achieving Development Resilient to a Changing Climate’. The Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre (CCCCC) is headquartered in Belize but the meeting will be chaired by Saint Lucia’s Minister of public service, sustainable development, energy, science and technology, Dr James Fletcher. The 5Cs serves as the secretariat for the Regional Coordinating Committee and provides technical support for its work.
