Clean-energy acquisitions in Latin American triple

According to PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), clean-energy acquisitions in Latin America nearly tripled last year.  $7.6 billion in renewable energy deals were signed in the region in 2015, which is up for $2.7 billion from 2014.

Arthur Ramos, partner at PwC said,

“Multinationals are taking stronger positions in Latin America where there is a perspective of lack of power supply in the long term. And many countries are offering low risk models of energy contracts for investors.”
