Japan has announced approximately US$6.4 million in grant assistance to support the installation of renewable energy systems, including solar panels, at 10 hospitals in Cuba. The initiative aims to strengthen energy reliability at hospitals, which have been heavily impacted by ongoing power outages linked to Cuba’s fuel supply challenges.
