IDB approved technical cooperation funds to help Jamaica’s energy ministry develop a national electricity loss reduction plan.
A roadmap will be drafted to determine the role of stakeholders, primarily power utility JPS, and required investment and technologies, and address regulatory, legal and institutional issues, among other areas.
