Jamaica has released its first electric vehicle policy, with the goal of increasing energy security, diversifying supply, and decarbonizing. The roadmap outlines plans to develop an enabling regulatory environment, deploy efficient charging infrastructure, establish guidelines related to standards and batteries, and train and engage the public.
