Industrial complex in Costa Rica sees progress in solar project

Local company Enertiva announced it has broken ground on the second phase of the solar energy project installation in the industrial complex of America Free Zone (AFZ).

Enertiva will have installed a total of 642 solar panels providing 211,57 kWp once the project is completed.

Various buildings have seen solar panels installed on their roof. For this phase of the project, solar panels are being installed on Building F33 – a technical challenge as the building is also equipped with a helicopter landing pad.

The industrial complex of AFZ houses several global companies, including Amazon, Bayer, Dell, IBM, Hewlett Packard, VMware, Baxter and more.
