IFC approves US$100 million financing for ATOME’s US$630 million low-carbon fertilizer plant in Paraguay

ATOME has announced that the International Finance Corporation (IFC) has approved up to US$100 million in financing for its US$630 million low-carbon fertilizer plant in Villeta, Paraguay. The 260,000 t/y project will also receive support from other major lenders, including the EIB, IDB Invest, FMO, and the Green Climate Fund. The approval marks a key step in advancing one of Latin America’s largest industrial-scale low-carbon fertilizer initiatives.
