Hitachi Energy has partnered with RT-One to develop electrification infrastructure for Latin America’s largest AI data center platform in Brazil, including mega campuses in Uberlândia (MG) and Maringá (PR), with a third site under evaluation. The project will provide advanced high-voltage electrical systems and grid connections, ensuring reliable, energy-efficient, and resilient power for AI, HPC, and cloud services, with initial capacities of 100 MW in Uberlândia and up to 200 MW in Maringá, expandable beyond 400 MW per campus. This initiative positions Brazil as a hub for high-density computing, clean energy, and digital sovereignty, supporting projected electricity demand growth and the country’s renewable energy matrix.
