Max Correa previously worked at Corfo as Deputy Director of Strategy and Sustainability supporting the Executive Vice President (CEO) in defining and implementing the institutional strategy, providing prospective and exploratory information to identify incoming trends.

Prior to Corfo, Mr. Correa worked as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Andes Iron, an iron ore mining company owner of two world class IOCG Ore Deposits located in the Andes Coastal Range. Experience also includes working as an associate of Carey & Co.’s Energy and Corporate Group.

Mr. Correa also serves as City Councilor to the Zapallar Municipality, as Councilor at the Chilean Natural Resources Information Centre, CIREN, and contributes to several conservation initiatives, most notably to Corporación Bosques de Zapallar (http://bosquesdezapallar.cl/).

Academically, Mr. Correa Graduated from the Universidad de Chile, Faculty of Laws and holds an Mphil in Environmental Policy, Department of Land Economy, from Cambridge University, UK and undertook a Certificate Program in Innovation and Entrepreneurship with Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
