Erwin Plett is a Chemical Engineer from the University of Chile, with a PhD in Process Engineering from the Universität Karlsruhe (now KIT, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology) in Germany, and a post-doctorate in Thermal Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA. He is a postgraduate lecturer of the “Hydrogen Economics” at the University of Santiago in Chile and has served as President of the Energy Commission of the Chilean Engineering Society. He is the managing partner of Low Carbon Chile SpA, dedicated to promoting the use of nanotechnology eco-catalysts for fuels, and developing Green Hydrogen projects.

Dr. Plett actively participates in different professional societies activities:
– Member of the aee, Association of Energy Engineers, Atlanta / GA, USA
– Member of the Human Centric Lighting Society, Seattle / WA, USA
– Professional Associate of H2Chile, the Chilean Hydrogen Association

Dr. Plett has been appointed “Green Hydrogen Ambassador” by the Minister of Energy.
