Environmental engineer with over 10 years of international experience with multilateral development banks and other Lenders, in both private and public sectors, focusing on high risk/complex projects including energy and extractive industries. Currently, senior environmental specialist at IDB’s Environmental and Social Solution Unit (ESG) and, previously, project manager in environmental consultancy firms. Technical experience on environmental and social impact assessments and management systems according to Lenders’ requirements such as IDB Safeguard Policies, IFC Performance Standards, WBG EHS Guidelines. Skilled in the evaluation of technical requirements for industrial safety in oil and gas projects such quantitative risk assessments and application of related mitigation measures. Field experience in over 30 countries throughout Africa, Europe, Middle East, Latin America and Asia-Pacific.
