Marcos Vinícius Gonçalves da Silva Farinha. Born in Rio de Janeiro in 1984. Electrical Engineer, graduated from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) in 2008; holds a Master’s degree in Power Systems from COPPE/UFRJ (2013) and MBA in Public Management at ENAP (2022). Worked at the Transmission Planning Superintendency (STE) as an Energy Research Analyst from 2008 to 2013 and, starting in 2014, took on the role of Technical Consultant. From 2019 to 2022, coordinated the Transmission Study Groups (GET) for the North and Northeast regions. Currently serves as Deputy Head at the Transmission Planning Superintendency and coordinator of electrical connection studies for the technical qualification of generation projects participating in energy and capacity auctions.
