Marc Schieting serves as the Director of the KfW IPEX-Bank representative office in São Paulo, Brazil. He leads the bank’s regional efforts in supporting export and project financing across South America, including Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, and Chile. His work involves fostering relationships with local companies, identifying business opportunities, and acting as a connection to the bank’s headquarters in Frankfurt. The office focuses on enabling German and European firms to finance exports, investments, and projects that enhance raw material security and infrastructure development in the region. Prior to his role in Brazil, Marc worked in the ship finance department of KfW IPEX in Frankfurt, covering global clients from Europe and Asia. Marc holds a MSc in International Business from Maastricht University (The Netherlands) and a BSc from Mannheim University (Germany).
