Fabio Grandchamp worked for Hamburg Sud (Container Shipping Line) from 2005 to 2017. In Brazil, Germany, and Hong Kong, he held positions in Commercial, from Pricing to Sales Management and Market Intelligence. In the last 4 years of his tenure, he was responsible for Procurement and Operations Cost Optimization for South America East Coast.

In 2017, Fabio started working for APM Terminals (Maersk Group) in The Netherlands being globally responsible for the 3rd largest customer of the company (CMA CGM). Soon after, he also became CCO for Region Europe. He had 9 terminals under his responsibility from Sweden, Mediterranean ports, and Georgia at the Black Sea. From 2018 to 2022, he served as Board Member of APM Terminals Gothenburg, Sweden.

He joined Port of Rotterdam in 2022 to take over the role of COO at Complexo do Pecem, a JV between Local State Government and PoR. He is responsible for Operations and Engineering as well as the development of a large industrial area including the Green Hydrogen Hub and other energy projects.

Today he is heavily involved in themes related to logistics, energy, green ports, green shipping.

Fabio graduated in Electrical Engineering (Computer) from Universidade de Sao Paulo (USP). He post-graduated in Business from FGV. Fabio studied different subjects at IMD and Harvard Business School.

Fabio is born in Sao Paulo, Brazil in 1980. He is married with 2 children (girl and boy). He likes sports, particularly running and football. Also, he enjoys supporting startups and innovative ideas. With the family, we like outdoor activities.
