Marcos Simonetti holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a master’s degree in Mechatronic Engineering, with solid experience in the industrial manufacturing sector. He has worked on several programs in the aerospace industry at EMBRAER. He also worked on the implementation and operation of EMBRAPII, the Brazilian Agency for Industrial Research and Innovation.

He currently leads the working groups on energy transition and decarbonization within the Business Mobilization for Innovation (MEI), and also develops projects to accelerate actions toward net-zero emissions in Brazilian industry at the Brazilian National Confederation of Industry (CNI).
