Carlos Alberto Schuch Bork, graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG); Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC); Participated in the implementation of SENAI Innovation Institutes in Brazil between 2012 and 2014; PhD in Science in the Graduate Program in Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering from the Technological Institute of Aeronautics (ITA) and postdoctoral studies in Industrial Process Sustainability from McMaster University in Canada. Full Professor of Mechanical Engineering, focusing on the area of Mechanical Manufacturing and Industrial Sustainability (IFSul) for 34 years, serving as Director of the Institution for 10 years. Worked as Advisor to the Director of SENAI DR-MG, where he managed the CIT SENAI Innovation and Technology Center. He currently holds the position of Superintendent of Innovation Projects at the National Confederation of Industry (CNI).
