Masayuki Hamamatsu is Executive Managing Officer (for Latin America and the Caribbean) of JBIC based in the Head Office in Tokyo. Mr. Hamamatsu leads customer relationship management and structuring operations including energy, mining, infrastructure, and manufacturing in Latin America and the Caribbean. He has good experience of working for Latin America and the Caribbean as the Resident Executive officer Regional Head for the Americas of JBIC based in New York in 2023-2024 which cover all operation in the region, a representative of Rio de Janeiro office of JBIC in 2002-2005, and a Manager of Cooperate Finance Department of Banco MUFG Brasil S.A., former Banco de Tokyo-Mitsubishi Brasil S.A. in 1998-2000. After joining JBIC in 2001, Mr. Hamamatsu has also wide range of experience in “Oil and Gas” and “Mining and Metals”.
