Luis Miguel has 13 years of experience across a wide range of areas including hydrogen and Power-to-X, sustainable mobility, renewable energy, and green construction. He is Head of Hinicio Colombia, where he has worked for nearly seven years. During this time, he has participated in numerous studies and projects related to hydrogen in Latin America, including market assessments, techno-economic analyses, corporate strategies, and project development support. Prior to this, he worked as Technical Manager for a Colombian company specialized in sustainable construction and at the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy in Germany, where he developed business models for providing ancillary grid services using large-scale and distributed battery systems. Luis Miguel has co-authored several articles published in scientific journals. He holds a degree in Biology and a master’s in Renewable Energy Management from the University of Freiburg.
