Guyana signs historic agreement to sell US$750 million worth of carbon credits to the Hess Corporation

Guyana has signed a multi-year deal with the Hess Corporation to sell the US energy major high-quality carbon credits for US$750 million. A significant portion of the money from the deal will flow to indigenous communities.
