Guyana Power and Light (GPL) has opened bidding to expand the country’s power grid in response to significant growth. The request for proposals includes engineering, procurement, construction, and financial services for an underground river crossing transmission line and the expansion of substations in Vreed-en-Hoop and Kingston.
